Mrs. Eitner is mentioned in this article

An article from The Mercury News, "South Bay: California's new law has teachers paying more for school supplies."

And now starring........Mrs. Eitner

This was a commercial/promotional video that was created by NBC Bay Area Creative Services in 2013, to show how RAFT (Resource Area for Teaching) uses recycled materials from companies and volunteers to create learning materials in kits. My class and myself were featured in the video.  These kits are then made available to teachers at a greatly reduced cost.  These kits save teachers time, have all the necessary pieces, directions and may be created for individuals, teams or whole class use.

I served (and continue to serve) as a RAFT Fellow, and was in their Middle School Teachers' Science Cohort where we are looked at the NGSS (Next Generation Science Standards) and led additional professional development ourselves for teachers around the bay area.  I have been a member at RAFT for over 20 years and continue to support their efforts to bring project based learning to students in the bay area. RAFT is a non-profit organization founded in 1994.
