A To be an A student: Student is a self-directed learner. Student takes initiative. Student actively works on class related projects and seeks our work to be complete when a project is done. Student is prompt in meeting deadlines. All work is handed in neat and organized and follows the format requested. Student accepts responsibility.
B To be a B student: Student is able to complete assignments in a timely manner. Most assignments are neat and organized and follow the format requested without complaint or prompting from the instructor. Class time is used efficiently and appropriately. Student accepts responsibility for their assignments and behavior.
C To be a C student: With help student is able to complete assignments. Class time is sometimes used inappropriately (homework, socializing, searching the net, playing games). Assignments are sometimes late or require prompting from the instructor. Assignment does not follow class format. Student does not take full responsibility for their assignments or behavior.
D To be a D student: Comes to class but class time is used inappropriately (homework, socializing, searching the net, playing games). Student needs to constantly be redirected. Assignments are incomplete or late. Student cannot maintain proper behavior. Student does not accept responsibility for assignments or behavior.
F To be an F student: Student comes to class. Student has a pulse. Student does not do work. Student misbehaves.
