Photographers:  Photographers will sign up for various events to take pictures around school.  Since we are limited in cameras, student who have not had an opportunity to take pictures will always come first.  If a student has their own camera that can take at least 8 megapixel pictures, they may use their own camera as long as they see me for a press pass and ALL of the pictures they take at school are downloaded to my computer for yearbook.  Students may not take pictures on campus unless directed by a teacher or are specifically for yearbook.

Reporters:  While every yearbook has a lot of pictures, we are creating a history book of Monroe Middle School and we need articles and stories that tell our history. If you are interesting in writing some articles for the yearbook, please check with Mrs. Eitner about topics, writing style and deadlines.  We also need students to help write captions for photographs.

Yearbook Staff:  If you are interested in helping put together the yearbook, using the pictures, graphics, etc., then please talk to Mrs. Eitner.  TreeRing uses an online program and we can set you up to do your edits at home.  There will be some training at school during lunchtime or after school on how to use the program.  Deadlines must be met or your staff position or page will be deleted.

Yearbook Editor:  There will be one/two student yearbook editors.  These positions are chosen by Mrs. Eitner based on previous experience with the yearbook and/or leadership qualities. It is typically an 8th grader in this position.  It is the yearbook editors job to oversee the yearbook, help staff when needed with the editing and make sure deadlines are met.

Baby Pictures:  Beginning in December we will start accepting 8th grade baby pictures for the yearbook.  Please send in your picture with your child's first and last name on the back of the image along with their language arts teachers.  We will make sure all pictures are returned.  If you would like to send a digital image, it cannot be from a phone, it must be at least an 8 megapixel image, please send the larger size.  It is always easier to shrink it than make it bigger.  Include your child's first and last name and their language arts teacher in the email.  Please email it to Mrs. Eitner with the subject BABY PICTURE - deitner@campbellusd.org
