Foley Editing Assignment
Due Friday, January 25, 2019
Watch the video below about the making of Toy Story with the Sound Designer. Then watch the video BabyJackJackPowers. It is two minutes with the sound removed. You will be adding all the sounds needed for this video. You can use pre-recorded sounds, but REMEMBER this assignment is a Foley exercise and Foley artists make their own sounds! More value will be given to effective original sounds, music and voice overs. Best practices such as insuring proper sound levels and timing are at least just as important as the choice of sounds.

Sound Track of Your Life
Due Friday, December 7, 2018
Every good movie has a good soundtrack. Audio is an important part of any movie. Your assignment is to create a soundtrack that best represents you and your unique life. This is NOT a list of your favorite songs, but songs that represent the life you have lived. ALL songs must have appropriate lyrics for school, so double check.
Along with the song list, you will also create a CD cover for your playlist. You may create the cover on the computer and glue it on to the paper (approx. 5" x 5").
If your songs have links on the internet, for EXTRA CREDIT, include a google doc that you can turn in through Google Classroom with links to all of your music.
All students have been given a paper copy of the assignment. If they lose it, they will need to reprint it on their own.
