Current Assignment - Song/Poem Illustration
1. Choose lyrics for a song or a poem (must be appropriate for school)
2. Copy the lyrics to a word document, include the artist, your first and last name and the date. Turn this into my dropbox on the server. Be sure to include your name in the file name, example: 5eitnerLyrics
3. Choose at least 4 images that you will combine together that will illustrate your song or poem. Be creative. Think about how these images will blend together as you choose them. They should all be of similar resolution so that you will not have pixelation problems.
4. In Photoshop, combine your images to create your illustration. (See above illustration and the tutorial below for ideas on how to blend these images.
5. On the word document with your lyrics, format the font so that it represents the lyrics. Add your illustration to the top of the lyrics - Under the Format Picture tools in Word, use the Wrapping tool to wrap it tight so you can move the image around and place it where you want it to go. Be sure your name is also in the header (right alignment) and the date.
6. On a separate sheet of paper, write a reflection about the meaning of your song and what the artist is trying to say. Answer the following questions in your reflection:
