Thank you so much for covering my classes!
Today is a minimum day - there is a schedule on the wall by the clock.
I have BREAK YARD DUTY - in the main quad.
Please allow ample time at the end of the period for all laptops to be checked in and plugged in.

Period 1 - STEAM (7/8 grade)
After students arrive, please take roll, then they need to pack up their stuff and anything they will need and go to the makers factory lab. The students will be there the entire period working on their bridge assignments.
Period 2 - 6th Grade Tech
After this period - I have break yard duty.
Students should start with www.typing.com and practice their typing skills for 10-15 minutes.
For the rest of the period they should either finish the following assignment that was started yesterday, and/or work on their SketchUp projects through #5 which are due on Friday. There are plenty of students in class who can help those who are struggling. Just ask for volunteers.
Students will need to log in to the google drive with their username@campbellusd.org
Then go to http://classroom.google.com
In their online classroom, I have placed a document they will have to replicate using the various tools in Google Docs. If you are able to demonstrate these on the projector, that would be helpful. The purple computer can access airplay and my airplay is labeled Office Apple TV.

You may be called on to sub in other classes that do not have a sub. Otherwise enjoy the peace and quiet!
Period 6 - Video Broadcasting/KMMS
I will post a script for tomorrow's KMMS broadcast in dropbox. Mr. Rodriguez who works with the students in the studio can make adjustments as necessary. If he is not here - then we will skip the broadcast today.
Students are currently working on Scratch Projects - Here is a link to my Video Page.
If students have completed their assignment in Scratch, then the next assignment is to create a 60 second video on Earth Day. They must include the history of Earth Day, relevant pictures/video, how middle school students should help on Earth Day and the benefit to such a holiday. Today they should start their research, and looking for high resolution pictures they may use in their video. They should have a folder on their desktop to put all the information there.
