STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts/Aesthetics, Math)

In addition to building basic computer skills, students will be introduced to various areas of technology using the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts [Aesthetics] and Math) model. You will complete projects using Engineering processes, with opportunities to compete in a regional engineering competition. Students will become experts in different computer applications as well as learn some basic programming skills and apply these to various projects. Students must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively to complete assignments. Students will create a portfolio of their work as an end product.
